Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Gridz.me ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and the content you publish. Don't use the Service to publish illegal content, spam, or anything that infringes third-party rights.

3. Free and paid plans

Free plan features are provided as-is. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel any time — you keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the free plan. We don't offer refunds for partial periods.

4. Your URL and handle

Free accounts receive a randomly generated gridz.me URL. Pro accounts may choose their own handle at gridz.me/yourname. Handles are subject to availability and our acceptable use policy. We reserve the right to reclaim handles that violate these Terms.

5. Privacy

We collect minimal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Deleting your account and your pages

Here is exactly what happens, because vague retention promises help nobody:

• Deleting your account removes your account and every page, block and analytics event attached to it immediately. Encrypted database backups are rotated out within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
• Archiving a page takes it offline but keeps it on your account until you delete it. We do not prune archived pages on a timer.
• Deleting a page removes it from your dashboard and takes its URL offline. You can ask us to restore a recently deleted page by emailing hello@gridz.me, and we'll help if it is still in a backup.

You can export any page as HTML or JSON at any time, on every plan, including free. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We're not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll notify paid subscribers by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
